Job Description:

We are looking for diverse candidates to join our U.S.-based travel insurance team that services our Canadian clientele; we handle incoming calls and emails from Canadian travelers. In this role you will be taught a consultative selling approach to learn about the traveler’s needs and recommend products to quote and sell to protect their upcoming travel.  We are also the first point of contact for policy inquiries related to status, benefits and coverages, perform data changes, and document inquiries. Most importantly we provide an excellent customer experience to our clients by answering inquiries quickly with a high degree of professionalism, quality, and accuracy.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Previous customer-service related experience (1+ years preferred)
• Fluent English, with bilingual French-speakers highly encouraged
• Travel and geography knowledge a plus
• Core computer knowledge including proficiency with MS Office and strong typing skills.
• Experience in sales is beneficial, but not required
• Must be able to meet state and provincial licensing ethics standards to sell insurance, and obtain a company-paid insurance license.
