    Job Responsibilities:

    • Check own set ups and work to be certain finished parts meet quality requirements and specifications.
    • Layout cutting lines on materials to be cut, obtaining measurements and other related information from prints, changes, sketches and verbal information.
    • Make stationary setups according to instructions and operate assigned spindle shaper or pin router after setup and first part has been checked.
    • Set up and operate assigned spindle shaper or pin router when adequate fixtures are available.
    • Perform any type cutting operations the machines are, or may be, adapted to perform.
    • Set up, operate and adjust assigned Do-all type saws to saw, file, slot, miter, contour, etc., flat formed, extruded sections and parts.

    Job Requirements/Qualifications:

    • This position requires constant standing and walking, frequent bending at the waist, twisting, pushing/pulling, occasional kneeling and crawling, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds
    • Experience using a computer such as internet navigation, email, Microsoft Office and/or other specialized computer applications.
    • Basic knowledge in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, etc.
    • Experience doing jobs or tasks where you had to apply math skills such as algebra, geometry and/or trigonometry.
